Job Searchers Weekly Support Group!

Job searching can be very frustrating and discouraging. This group offers emotional support for people who want to successfully deal with difficulties that can be encountered while searching for a job or other situations in life. Members will have the opportunity to meet others in similar situations, share what's going on in your life and encourage each other through small group discussion.

Information from DVDs offered by the American Association of Christian Counselors and books from top experts on how to handle anger, depression, anxiety and other topics will be presented. Small group discussion will take place afterward where the material covered can be discussed and encouragement given to each other on acting on the ideas presented.

Prayer for specific needs will be offered at the close of the meeting.

It takes courage to say, "I'm going to step forward and give and receive support from others," and this is termed "Courageous Living" for those who come to the group. This group is open for anyone who is job seeking and needs some support from others or for anyone who wants to improve in the problem areas that can be encountered in life.

The group is free.

The group meets at Hope Lutheran Church in the Multipurpose Room, between the Gym and School on Mondays from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. The meeting place can be found by clicking here.
