The Faith in Action North East Austin Caregivers Choral Concert hosted at Hope Lutheran Church on May 4th had beautiful music from a variety of area church choirs. The choir in the picture is of the El Shaddai Youth Choir with members who have relocated to the U.S. from the Congo.
In 2011, the Caregivers provided free transportation to 252 seniors in our area. It took 30 drivers to make 2,663 point ot point trips, 6,945 hours of time and approximately 22,000 miles of driving.
Children from the Mother's Day Out program sang during the Palm Sunday service on April 1. Everyone enjoyed having them to help celebrate the special day.
