November 17—Jeremiah 33:1-22; Matthew 27:11-32
Jer 33–Call to Me and I will answer and reveal to you wondrous secrets that you haven’t known.
Matt 27–”Let His blood be on us and on our children.”
Jer 33:11 “Give thanks to the Lord Almighty, for the Lord is good; his love endures forever.”
Matt 27:25 “His blood is on us and on our children!”

Matt 27:30 They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again. After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.
November 18—Jeremiah 37:1-21; Matthew 27:33-56
Jer 37–Neither Zedekiah, his attendants, nor the people of the land listened to the Lord’s words spoken by the prophet Jeremiah.
Matt 27—”If You are God’s Son, come down from the cross.”
Jer. 37:18 “What crime have I committed against you or your attendants or this people, that you have put me in prison?
Matt 27:46 “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?”
Jer 37:2 Neither he nor his attendants nor the people of the land paid any attention to the words the Lord had spoken through Jeremiah the prophet.
Matt 27:54 When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”
November 19—Jeremiah 38:1-28; Matthew 27:57-66
Jer 38–So they seized Jeremiah, threw him into the cistern of the royal prince Malchiah, within the prison quarters, and lowered him down by ropes. Now there wasn’t any water in the cistern, only mud, and Jeremiah began to sink into the mud.
Matt 27—Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had carved out of the rock.
Jer. 38:20 “Obey the Lord by doing what I tell you. Then it will go well with you
Matt. 27:65 Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.” 66 So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard.
Jer 38:20 …”Obey the Lord by doing what I tell you. Then it will go well with you…”
Matt 27:59-61 Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut out of the rock. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were sitting there opposite the tomb.
November 20—Daniel 1:1-21; Matthew 28:1-20
Dan 1—Daniel decided that he wouldn’t pollute himself with the king’s rations or the royal wine
Matt 28–Look, there was a great earthquake, for an angel from the Lord came down from heaven. Coming to the stone, he rolled it away and sat on it.
Daniel 1:17 God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning.
Matt. 28:6 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.
Dan 1:9 Now God had caused the official to show favor and sympathy to Daniel,
Matt 28:5,6 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified, He is not here; he has risen, just as he said…”
November 21—Daniel 2:1-23; Revelation 18:1-24
Dan 2–Then Daniel, with wisdom and sound judgment…
Rev 18–’Babylon, you great city, you powerful city! In a single hour your judgment has come.’
Daniel 2:22 He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.
Rev. 18:20 “Rejoice over her, you heavens! Rejoice, you people of God! Rejoice, apostles and prophets!
Dan 2:20 …”Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his.”
Rev 18:4,5 Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “Come out of her my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.”
November 22—Daniel 2:24-49; Revelation 19:1-21
Dan 2–”But there is a God in heaven, a revealer of mysteries…”
Rev 19–”Hallelujah! The Lord our God, the Almighty, exercised His royal power!”
Daniel 2:27 “No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, 28 but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries.
Rev 19:9 “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”
Dan 2:27,28 Daniel replies, “No wiseman, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries.”
Rev 19:6,7 …”Hallelujah! For our Lord God almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory…”
November 23—Daniel 3:1-30; Revelation 20:1-15
Dan 3–The fire hadn’t done anything to them: their hair wasn’t singed; their garments looked the same as before; they didn’t even smell like fire!
Rev 20–He seized the dragon, the old snake, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.
Daniel 3:25 the fourth looks like a son of the gods.
Rev. 20:15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
Dan 3:17,18 “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it…But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
Rev 20:10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
