March 16—Genesis 15:1-21; Mark 5:21-43
Gen 15–Abram trusted the Lord
Mark 5–If I can just touch His clothes, I’ll be healed.
Gen – I am your shield, your very great reward.
Mark – “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”
Gen 15:1 …Do not be afraid…I am your shield.
Mark 5:36 …”Don’t be afraid; just believe.”

March 15—Genesis 13:1-18; Mark 5:1-20
Gen 13–There he worshipped in the Lord’s name.
Mark 5–”Go home to your own people,” Jesus said, “and tell them what the Lord has done for you and how He has shown you mercy.”
Gen – I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted.
Mark -“Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”
Gen 13:4…Abraham called on the name of the Lord.
Mark 5:20…(He)began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.

March 14—Genesis 11:17—12:20; Mark 4:21-41
Gen 11-12–”Leave your land, your family, and your father’s household for the land that I will show you.”
Mark 4–”Everything hidden will be revealed, and everything secret will come out into the open.”
Gen – And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Mark – Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you. Peace Be Still!!!!
Gen 11:17-12:20 Trust God
Mark 4:24 “Consider carefully what you hear. With the measure you use, it will be measured to you–and even more.”

March 13—Genesis 8:13—9:17; Mark 4:1-20
Gen 8-9–”for in the divine image God made human beings.”
Mark 4–”Whoever has ears to listen should pay attention!”
Gen – Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.
Mark – But those that were sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.”
Gen 9:13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
Mark 4:18-19 “Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.

March 12—Genesis 7:11—8:12; Mark 3:20-35
Gen – God remembered Noah, all those alive, and all the animals with him in the ark.
Mark – “whoever insults the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven.”
Gen – Then the Lord shut him in.
Mark – Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.
Gen – The Lord kept Noah and his family safe from the flood waters. 7:16…Then the Lord shut him in.
Mark – “I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin.

March 11—Genesis 6:1—7:5; Mark 3:1-19
Gen – Noah was a moral and exemplary man; he walked with God.
Mark – Looking around at them with anger, deeply grieved at their unyielding hearts…
Gen – he Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Mark – And he looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart,
Gen – Noah did everything just as God commanded him.
Mark – He looked around at them in anger and deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts…

March 10—Genesis 4:1-26; Mark 2:18-28
Gen – if you don’t do the right thing, sin will be waiting at the door ready to strike!
Mark – “But new wine is for new wineskins.”
Gen – But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
Mark – The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
Gen – …Am I my brother’s keeper?
Mark – So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.
